In the beginning



 We have been taking about a cross Canada road trip for a long time - seems like its going to be a reality this year!  In a perfect world we would leave September 13 and head east - then south along the US eastern seaboard and end up at our lil love nest in Mesa.  A number of things have to come together for this to actually go forward - namely a second Covid vaccine and an open border!

1. Lacombe to Golden BC- October 7, 2020- 426km We stayed at the Days Inn and golfed in Golden the next day - we were paired with a fellow golfer from Red Deer! 2. Golden BC to Vernon BC- October 8, 2020 - 295 km Stayed somewhere in Vernon that I don't remember!  We hadn't been on this route for quite a while so it was nice to gawk about - traffic was very quiet 3. Osoyoos BC to Mission BC - October 10 & 11 - 338 km via Crowsnest Hwy We left Osoyoos and headed to Mission BC to spend Thanksgiving and Adam's 35th birthday with Adam, Trevor and Dexter We played a lot of crib Unfortunately Sid fell out of a tree while doing some fall clean up with the boys and sprained his ankle - so that was the end of golf for this trip! 5.
